| The Dance Minor offers students the opportunity
to pursue integrated studies in dance and performance. Studio courses
emphasize contemporary dance techniques, choreography and performance.
Critical courses discuss the historical, cultural, and political significance
of dance and bodily movement as both a social institution and an art
form. Students are required to take one course from other art disciplines
in order to explore linkages between dance and other art forms. |
