Code of Conduct


  1. Members of the SGC shall not disturb other students while playing in the Instructional Computing Labs.
  2. Members shall only play on lab computers during SGC sanctioned events.
  3. Only approved games shall be installed and played on school computers.
  4. Members shall display sportsmanlike conduct at all times. Disputes should attempt to be resolved by the two or more individuals, then the Game Commanders, then the Internal V.P., and finally if no other resolution can be reached the Advisor will have final say on the matter.
  5. The Game Commanders shall be responsible for ensuring that each game member is instructed on the proper installation and removal procedures for any software used by the game. The member shall be responsible for following proper procedure of installation and removal of software as outlined by the Game Commander.
  6. Game Commanders shall be responsible for notifying members of any changes in installation and removal procedures.
  7. Each member shall be responsible for obtaining their own licensed copy of any software played or network number required, and staying within the software license.
  8. Both CSUSM and the SGC shall not be held liable if a member violates software licensing agreements, as each member is to have their own personal copy of any software and will soley be responsible for any licensing agreement therein.
