The CSU San Marcos College Democrats is a political activity club.  We are the same political affiliation as the National Democrats and often support the same candidates.  We encourage voter turn out for all elections and promote certain positions on topics as they arise.    

Members are encouraged to discuss and debate controversial topics at anytime they choose, whether it be at a meeting or an event.  The College Democrats is a diverse group of people that come from all walks of life.  You will always find an interesting person to talk to at our meetings.  

We are quite flexible with scheduling and any help you give to the club is appreciated.  We encourage you to join even though you may be committed to another club.  Many of our activities are in support of other causes and clubs. 

The College Democrats participate in many school events and set up tables around campus to inform the students of Cal State San Marcos of important issues affecting them.
