The entries are pure text to 300 characters (about 4 lines of simple editors) and may include a hypertext link. The database will keyword search the text of the advertisements. Sites may choose to refer the task of writing an entry to the original advertiser. The database will incorporate geographic searching that will allow classified advertising and localised services to be placed. This last feature is not especially relevant to the many advertisements that currently exist on the Web which can easily be included today in our listings which operate at the national level. The entries will remain on for a year (at least) unless a shorter period is specified. When a modest charge is introduced for entries there will obviously be a time cap of a year. So there is the strategy. I hope you agree that it should be mutually beneficial.
