This book was useful to learn the basics of what pagans believed and Christians believed. The book was helpful in learning about the origins of Christianity as well as Pagan rituals and the different Gods they believed in. It is written clearly and to understand the basics, I would recommend that a person view this source for tips.
Hutton, Ronald. The Pagan Religions of the Ancient British Isles. Oxford, UK: Basil Blackwell Ltd, 1991.
This book was very helpful because the material begins in 30,000 BC and finishes at 1000 AD. The information in this book is very detailed and discusses the beliefs of many people including the Celts, Saxon, Normans and many more. The material goes into detail of the Gods of Paganism, who believed in paganism and in what time period, the changes that occurred to Paganism due to the many invasions by various groups. It discusses the clash of faiths when Christianity arises and point out pieces of literature that reflected both religions. This book was very useful in finding information and goes into much detail about the religions, their practices and the literature that came from these changes.

I used this article to understand more about St. Augustine and his influence in the rise of Christianity in Britain and his mission as well as Pagan Gods and works that related to both Christianity and Paganism. This journal was very useful because it went into good detail about the changes that occurred through out Britain. It also discussed how Paganism is still used today which other sources did not.
