Wheels

I developed a passion for motor vehicles when I was about 12 years old, when I road my bicycle around town to each of the car dealerships and collected brochures on the new cars.  Also, much to my parents' dismay, I used to hang out at the local Harley-Davidson shop, a short bicycle ride from our house.  This was long before Harleys became somewhat respectable.  Over the years sporty cars and motorcycles have remained among my main interests and favorite hobbies.

I have had a number of sports cars and sport sedans over the years, as well as regular cars, station wagons, and even a couple of pick-up trucks.  I have posted pictures of some of them below.  Hold your pointer over the thumbnail to see a description of the car in the photo and click on it to see a larger picture.

My dad and I built this kart, with bed rails for the frame and a washing maching engine. We never got around to installing brakes. My first car, a 1950 Ford Club Coupe 1965 Volkswagen Karmann-Ghia 1970 BMW 2002

When I was growing up in Colorado, 14 year olds could get a license to ride motor scooters and motorcycles with less than 6 horsepower.  That got me hooked.  I had motor scooters in junior high and high school and over the years I have had a number of motorcycles.   I have posted pictures of some of them below.  Drag your pointer over the thumbnail image below to see a description and click on the picture to see a larger picture of these bikes.
