OK, Ok, I give, here are some links
to some of my favorite places. I know, how posh, how trendy but
how convenient for me, rather then using my Lengthy bookmark list
*gryn*.
Anyway, here are some links........
Here is the NativeWeb home page, for Indian topics and information. Also, please see my Native American Links page and my Cherokee Page.
The University of SanDiego Native American Website is loaded with information, especially about San Diego county.
Hopefully, many of you reading this are aware of the atrocities that the Chinese government has been committing in Tibet for the last 50 years. For more information please visit The Tibetan Government in Exile, as well as the homepage of the Free Tibet Organization.
I am hopeful that someday soon, Tibet will be free again. Our voices can make an impact.
For information on Buddhism, try BuddhaNet, an excellent online resource and zine (and the lovely pic to the right). For information specific to Tibetan Buddhism, try Learn About Tibetan Buddhism, a beautiful site.
Another issue I feel strongly about is Zero Population Growth. We are close to Y6B. Don't know what that means? Go to http://www.zpg.org or mail the ZPG organization at info@zpg.org.
They have LOTS of info on this issue and why any of us should care about it. They also have some really awesome educational materials suitable for any classroom.
On a milder note, for those of you who live in San Diego County and enjoy fishing, visit San Diego Fish Online. Lots of great maps and information about local fishing spots.
I love gaming, so here is the Role-Playing Games information page. And
Whoowhee, start there, and take off. I sure did enjoy it. Check out my Planescape oriented paintings on my Art Page.
Tony Diterlizzi is one of my major sources of inspiration for painting.
Here is a wonderful art page by Mishibinijima (aka James A. Simon). His paintings tell legends from his culture. They are also quite beautiful.
Then, since I collect frogs (not live ones, fake ones) The Froggy Page is available for your enjoyment.
Staying with the animal theme here is Adam's Fox Box III, Adam is a true artist :)
The picture is from his site.
I am very interested in Origami, and enjoy folding new figures. It is a wonderful hobby that is fun to see one's own growth in over time. I know I can fold things today, that I couldn't last year, and next year I will be able to do even more.
Check out Joseph Wu's Origami Page. A wonderful place to strat for Origami on the Web.
A very useful site, even if you aren't a teacher, The Helpful Pages for Teachers.
Also check out this Children's Literature Guide.
Mean People Suck, so here is the official site for The Grateful Dead. It is a wonderful site for any information a DeadHead might need.
