Born: August 1, 1960 on Guam (an island in the south Pacific).

Grew Up: All over the place, my father being a naval officer, including Italy (Catania, Sicily), Virginia, Georgia, Texas, Monterey, and of course Southern California.

Education: I began my college experience at UC Berkeley as a Chemistry major, but ended up with a BA in Communications and Visual Arts from UCSD. I have a certificate in Online Teaching and Learning and a Master's degree in Education with an emphasis in online learning from CSU Hayward.
