LOEX 2007 Conference Minority Scholarship
The LOEX 2007 Conference Planning Committee, with the support of the LOEX Conference director, has reserved one PAID registration for a librarian or library school student who is a member of an under-represented minority group. The scholarship will include a travel/lodging stipend of $250. Any additional conference-related expenses are the responsibility of the recipient.
Interested minority librarians and graduate students currently enrolled in ALA-accredited LIS programs are strongly encouraged to apply. Preference will be given to applicants who have been members of the profession for fewer than five years, and whose Information Literacy interests include outreach to underserved minority populations.

- A current CV, including number of years in the profession
- A 500-word essay describing your interest in Information Literacy Services
